Jawahar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Food Technology at MES Mampad college. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Food Technology from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidayapeeth,Rahuri(M.S) and B.Sc.in Horticulture from TNAU,Coimbatore. Prior to joining MES Mampad College, he was working as an Assistant Manager at Modern Food Industries (I) Ltd,Chennai. He was awarded Junior Research Fellowship by ICAR for M.Sc. He has around 7 years of experience in Industrial and more than 15 years in Research and teaching. His areas of teaching interest include Fruits & Vegetables Technology, Bakery Technology, Wine Technology,Food Microbiology,Food Engineering and processing,Food Safety etc. He has full-time two years of research experience as Research Scholar from the Department of Food Technology at MPKV,Rahuri and also three years in department of Agricultural process Engineering,Palli siksha Bhavan,Viswa Bharati,Shanti Niketan(W.B)
